The Panthers were undefeated through August and are looking to take that form into the game against the Bulldogs after a comprehensive victory over Manly.
No matter what team you go for in the NRL Sunday’s game at 2:10pm (Perth time) is a must watch for all Wanneroo supporters and players, as we get to watch two fantastic players that cut their teeth at Wanneroo.
Good luck Curtis and Waqa

Former Perth Bayswater and Wanneroo Rugby Union Club first grade coach Bill Watt was recognised for over 30 years of contribution with a Life Membership to RugbyWA. Watt first played with the Perth Bayswater first grade side in 1980, and was a coach at the club from the late 80’s to the early 90’s.
He was awarded life membership to the Perth Bayswater club before leaving for Wanneroo where he was a coach from the mid 90’s to early 2000’s, and was the vice president from 2005 to 2011.
Congratulations to Bill for his strong contribution to community Rugby in Perth!
The Wanneroo Rugby club would like to congratulate Brad Campbell for being named as part of the Perth Spirit Squad for the 2016 National Rugby Championship season.
A physically imposing, yet athletic player, Brad has been rewarded for his impressive and consistent performances this season by being included in the 35 man squad.
The Perth Spirit will kick-off their 2016 Buildcorp NRC campaign against the Melbourne Rising on Saturday, 27 August at McGillivray Oval.
Force sign NRL star Curtis Rona
Western Force have snared Canterbury Buldogs try-scoring sensation and former Wanneroo Rugby Junior player Curtis Rona, bringing the NRL star home to Perth and a return to rugby union for two seasons.
Rona asked for an early release from his Bulldogs contract after talks with Wallabies coach Michael Cheika on Sunday and following weeks of negotiations with the Force and the Australian Rugby Union, as revealed in the West Australian two months ago.
